• What I Wear Wednesday: Perfect Outfit for Rectangle, Athletic, and Inverted Triangle Body Types

This outfit is made up of some pretty old pieces in my wardrobe. But, I still love it because it’s super comfy without looking so. It’s crazy what a simple cardigan can do! I also love this color combo together. I’m still trying to add color to my wardrobe and make an effort to wear colorful pieces but it was super easy to do so for this outfit. This ensemble would be perfect for someone with an inverted triangle, athletic, or rectangle body type because the roundness of the cardigan adds some good shape for those who don’t have many curves. But, it also camouflages any curves on the top…

  • Styling Saturday: Drab to Fab

The outfit on the left is pretty chill for a casual day around the house or running errands. But, I wanted to mix it up a bit and put a little of my flare into it. Autumn Cashmere / Sweater – This sweater is soooooo soft and comfy. What really attracted me to it was its versatility. I love how it’s somewhat slouchy so it can be worn pretty casually. But, I also loved that I could see myself dressing it up with possibly a cream pair of slacks and nude flats on a chilly Spring day. It’s pretty breathable so it’s perfect for lounging around the house when it’s…

  • Styling Saturday: Drab to Fab

This is one of my all-time favorite dresses as it can be styled so many different ways. (I bought this dress a couple years ago so it’s no longer being sold. But, I’ve linked some similars below.) It’s a little underrated because, at first glance, it’s pretty boring, ordinary. But, when paired with the right accessories, it can become anyone’s favorite piece in their closet. Here, I styled it pretty simply, as most people might style it: very relaxed, comfortable, and simple. But, below, I added a few pops of color and accessories I’ve had in my closet for years and I changed it from a boring dress to an…

  • What I Wear Wednesday: OOTD

Dress / Similar Sneakers I absolutely love this dress. It’s a super soft gauzy material that breathes really well in the heat. I go on walks everyday and this dress, although long sleeve, doesn’t affect me too much in the humidity, allowing me to keep my PALE skin covered. My shoes are a huge staple in my wardrobe. Although they no longer sell them, they’re still my favorite (they’re my second pair). They feel like walking on clouds and, if I’m not already wearing them, I pop them on before my walk. Overall, this is a pretty comfy outfit, which is something I strive for now that I’m staying home…

  • Day Nine: Working From Home

As it does, the weather has been bouncing around so much lately. For times like these, I like to pull some ideas from my post, Versatile Products. But, today I definitely needed to dress for much warmer temperatures than I have lately. Dress: Macy’s Sunglasses:Ray Ban Shoes: Old Tretorns (Tretorns) This dress is literally $13.00 right now. I originally found it on Nordstrom Rack but they didn’t have my size. I was lucky enough to find it at Macy’s. I’m wearing a size small. I also picked up a couple of trenches because they were SO on sale and a trench is perpetually on my shopping list (Ralph Lauren/ Ralph Lauren). My Tretorns…

  • Day Eight: Working From Home

I put actual pants on today and I was really proud of myself. I’ve been taking about a two mile walk every day and I always change into my Tretorns but, today, I decided to start my day with them as well. T-Shirt: P.J. Salvage Jeans: Old Loft (J. Crew Factory) Sneakers: Tretorn (Tretorn) Although I was wearing jeans, this outfit was still super comfortable. I’m pretty positive my t-shirt is a pajama top, confirmed by the brand name, but that’s what makes it so comfy.  These are my favorite of all time sneakers (they’re my third pair) but, unfortunately, I’m not able to find them anymore. I just ordered…

  • Day Seven: Working From Home

I decided to wear something other than leggings today. But, I still kept it comfortable. Blouse: Banana Republic Jumpsuit: ASOS Shoes: Rothy’s This ASOS jumpsuit is SUPER stretchy and flowy. I’m definitely excited to wear it when the weather gets warmer with some sandals and without the shirt underneath. It even made it onto my Spring Lookahead. I just bought my first pair of Rothy’s and I’ve definitely fallen in love, like many others. I decided to go with the camo to keep it a little trendy. But, I love the point because of the classic shape. They’re super flexible although the soles don’t have a huge amount of support. But,…

  • Day Six: Working From Home

It is SUPER chilly today so I’m pulling out my old Winter pieces. The dreariness outside makes me feel even colder L. But, this was honestly an outfit I just threw on right before I went downstairs. I normally set out my clothes the night before. But, I had no motivation last night. So, I went with what I was feeling, which was cold and in need of a blanket wrapped around my body. Everything in this outfit has been in my closet for quite some time. So, I’ve listed a couple similars for each piece. Turtleneck: Nordstrom (Nordstrom Rack) Poncho: ASOS (Lulus/ Anthropologie) Leggings: Target Boots: Old Dr. Scholl’s (Boden) I…

  • Day Five: Working From Home

Day Five is a comfy outfit as well. I’ve begun mostly working in my bed all day and I don’t think that I could sit in it in anything uncomfortable with other options just steps away from me. Again, I made an outfit around a pair of my MANY black leggings. Blouse: Banana Republic Poncho: Tuckernuck Sweater Poncho Leggings: Old Target Shoes: Taryn Rose Necklace: Urban Outfitters This is such a comfy, cozy outfit (even though it looks fairly put together). Popping a collar is a way that I love to add a touch of elegance to a simple outfit. The Tuckernuck sweater poncho is super soft and heavy. It’s…

  • Day Four: Working from Home

I decided to put on pants today. But, I went with my COMFIEST pants. I watched Just Go With It last night and was inspired by Jennifer Aniston’s casual wardrobe. I love the look for boyfriend pants with a more feminine top, such as this V-neck sweater. Everything in my outfit have been staples in my closet for quite some time now. But, I tried to track down some similars. Sweater: Old Target (Similar/ Similar) Pants: Gap Khakis(Similar) Belt: Old Rebecca Minkoff (Similar/ Similar) Shoes: Target Accessories: Kate Spade Knot Bracelet/ Old Kate Spade Chain Bracelet (Similar) / Kate Spade Initial Necklace / Fitbit Wrap Band This is such a soft and cozy sweater.…
