Sunday Shopping: Stores I Browse for Boho Looks

Free People

Free People is the epitome of boho, hippie styles. All of their pieces are super relaxed and trendy in a bohemian sense.

One //

Jumpsuit – First of all, I love the color of this piece. Secondly, the shape seems super flattering to all shapes because it doesn’t look like it fits too tightly.

I’d pair it with the below Free People pieces:

Mini Dress – This dress is ADORABLE. I love a good low neckline. It reminds me of summer and just throwing on a dress before you head out the door. I’m also loving bandanas right now. This accessory would go perfectly with the vibe of this dress.

Blouse – I love mixing patterns and this blouse does it beautifully. When I think boho, I think billowy tops with flair jeans. That’s just what this blouse adds to this outfit.

Anthro and Free People are owned by the same corporation so it’s understandable that they both have the same impact on my wardrobe – adding a boho element.

One aspect of this store that it brings to creating a hippie closet is classicness. It adds a more sophisticated element to pieces that may normally be more relaxed or seen as sloppy in a boho manner.

I’ve found some cute pieces that really exemplify how Anthro does this.

Embroidered Pants – Although these pants are in a pretty relaxed style and have a bright print – two aspects of boho styles that I love, they can be dressed up and their “sloppy” element is essentially erased on their own but especially when paired with the right items. If you want to complete the outfit, look below.

Midi Dress – This dress is BEAUTIFUL. The pattern and the length are definitely the most boho elements to this dress. But, the classicness comes in with the shape and the sleeve length.

Three //

Peasant Top – I LOVE the look of a peasant top and Anthro, luckily, has no shortage of them. There are so many ways to dress it up or dress it down. But, in an effort to continue with Anthro’s theme, I decided to pick pieces to dress it up.

{Some other peasant tops I’m loving are here and here.}

Four //

Pinstripe Dress – The pinstriped pattern and the peasantness of this dress is exactly the combination I picture when thinking of Anthro pieces. I love the classicness of this item.

Francesca’s is perfect for all types of styles, which is why I often browse there when I’m looking for a specific type of piece. They have a TON of options for boho outfits.

One //

Blouse & Skirt – I love these two pieces because, unless paired together, they don’t come across as overly boho.

Two //

Blouse & Pants – Once again, I love the relaxed classicness of adding a collared shirt to a more free spirited piece. This color combo is also my fave.

Three //

Blouse & Jeans – This outfit is so cute and subtly boho. These pieces can easily be transformed into a different style in another outfit.
