As I was shopping around for my Thanksgiving outfit, I checked out Anthropologie’s site. I literally fell in love with every piece they’re offering this season. I love Anthro, especially around the holiday season, because they have the most intricate and unique pieces.
Below are some of my cutest finds from Anthro and some of the outfits that are in the running for my Thanksgiving Day outfit. Click on each photo to add them to your cart.
These sequined joggers are the definition of what I think of when I think of Anthro’s holiday collection and they’re definitely making it into my top three for Thanksgiving outfits (mostly because the expandable waist would really compliment my love for pumpkin pie and mashed potatoes).
I love the look of combining a piece with a lax shape with structured shapes, that’s why I love this collared shirt and pointy toed shoes with these joggers. And, every outfit it better with a cute headband. Right now, I’m loving the trend of the knotted headband. It can distract from even the worst of bad hair days.
I’m not even gonna go to the plaid shoes because, what the fuck, they’re so Christmasy and perfect.
I am literally in love with this sweater. I love the rusticness of every aspect of this outfit except for the leather joggers. Again, this is an outfit I would pick for a day on which I plan to eat copious amounts of food (mainly desserts and rolls). But, I would also pick it because it has my absolute favorite contrast ever: leather and pretty much everything else. I love a good knit with a leather. I love a good chambray with a leather, and I especially love a good suede with a leather. This outfit has it all.
Dresses are my jam when it comes to holidays that make it socially acceptable for me to eat as much as I do on the day to day. I love the simplicity and classicness of this outfit. The green of the shoes and the headband also make this outfit perfect for the holidays and perfect for the transition from Fall to Winter.
This outfit screams cozy to me. Look how soft that sweater looks, and those joggers! This is a great outfit for me to eat, slip my shoes off, and then fall asleep in. Also, Swedish Hasbeens have been on my Christmas list for years. I think it’s time that I play Santa and treat myself.
I love mixing patterns and the subtle pattern of this sweater allows me to mix patterns without being crazy busy. The cozy sweater brings some comfortability to the ensemble. And, if you look closely, the pants, although at first glance look like trousers, they are actually joggers, cinched at the bottom. That is just another thing I love about Anthro: all of the subtle details. This outfit screams comfy to me without looking sloppy.
Color Pop! I LOVE this pop of color right at the start of Winter. It’s already needed. If I’m trying to dress up for Thanksgiving, I’m gonna go with this ensemble. The top is literally adorable and you can never go wrong with some palooza pants. The vest adds some coziness as well.
How could you not be completely in love with this sweater? This sweater totally encompasses why I love Anthro. It’s so unique and feminine. Because the sweater is so busy, it’s easiest to pair it with a basic bottom but I think the shoes bring some fun back to the bottom half.
