These past few days, I’ve been dreaming about the beach vacation my family and I go on every year. One of my favorite parts about getting ready to go is planning out my outfits. Despite not knowing if we’ll be able to go this summer, I’ve started looking around for some fun VK clothes.
When I’m shopping for summer vacation outfits, I typically hit up three places to get the main things: Free People, Anthropologie, and Madewell.
We usually do something fun and active during the day and then do a nice dinner at night. So, I have two outfits planned for each day.
Day 1: The Drive, Lunch, Grocery Store Haul, Unpacking, Dinner, Mini Golf
On my way down to the house, I usually dress super casually. And, I always need a sweater for the car.
I love the look of heels with a miniskirt, especially espadrilles. I feel like this look looks so summery and fun.
Day 2: Church, Breakfast, Kayaking, Boardwalk, and Dinner
This day was a little tough to plan for outfitwise because I needed to look nice for church but also wear something that I would be comfortable in kayaking. Whenever I need to look somewhat nice but be comfortable, I usually go for paperbag shorts or pants. They’re so breezy but don’t look as sloppy as just a normal pair of shorts.
Ugh, this romper is sooo cute. I’m literally buying it right now. I also absolutely love the look of a scarf and a pony. This Madewell scarf pulls together the colors of the romper and the shoes perfectly.
Day 3: Waterpark, Dinner, Boardwalk Ice Cream
This is a pretty simple outfit for a day at the waterpark. I always love long sleeve coverups because it’s perfect for somewhat chilly water days.
I love this easy, breezy outfit. I’m planning on the first night of comfy dinner shoes to be the night we walk to get ice cream.
Day 4: Breakfast, Beach, Boardwalk, Pizza Dinner
This dress is so cute and comfy looking. I absolutely love the look of a dress with little sneakers, like Tretorns. I think it looks so sweet and sporty.
This is another super simple beach outfit. I love American Eagle for bathing suits. They have so many different size options and so many different styles.
I love a good linen pant, as you can tell because this is the second day I’ve planned to wear them. This has more of a crisp, elegant look than the on Day Three, though.
