• Sunday Shopping 5/24

I’ve been looking around for summer clothes to add to my wardrobe. Lately, I’ve been really feeling patterns and comfy sundresses. I’m in love with this top. I absolutely love pieces that have mixed patterns. I think they add so much to an outfit and create an interesting ensemble without much effort. Free People One of my favorite times of summer is when my family and I head to the beach for a week. I love nights on the boardwalk because it is such a beautiful temperature with shorts and a sweater. I’ve also been looking for a utility romper. With this outfit, this sweater is perfect to tie around…

  • Sunday Shopping 5/19

I’ve been really into hair accessories lately. I think they look so summery and bring a pop to a normally bland outfit. Hair Accessories These days have been rough outfitwise, simply because I rarely leave my house. Because of that, I haven’t been putting too much effort into what I’m wearing. So, while browsing, I came upon a few accessories that I can just pop on and step my outfit up a few notches. Scarf Pony / Barrette / Headband Button Downs My shopping lately has all been about comfort. I really love the classic look of a button down and I’m loving these because they have a more modern, comfortable take.…

  • Daydreaming Vacation Outfits Part II

Take a look at the first half here. Because I’m planning on two outfits a day, for the second half of VK, I’m going to try to repeat as many pieces as I can. Day 5: Paddle Boarding and Kayaking, Mini Gulf, Casual Dinner at Home Paddle Boarding Outfit Coverup / Bikini Top / Bikini Bottom / Sandals I love this sporty swimsuit and army green is pretty much my favorite color to wear. Day Outfit Headband / Romper / Tretorns How gorgeous is this headband?!?! I built this outfit around the headband. The rest of the ensemble needed to be simple to draw attention to the hair accessory. No need to add another outfit onto the…

  • Daydreaming Vacation Outfits Part I

These past few days, I’ve been dreaming about the beach vacation my family and I go on every year. One of my favorite parts about getting ready to go is planning out my outfits. Despite not knowing if we’ll be able to go this summer, I’ve started looking around for some fun VK clothes. When I’m shopping for summer vacation outfits, I typically hit up three places to get the main things: Free People, Anthropologie, and Madewell. We usually do something fun and active during the day and then do a nice dinner at night. So, I have two outfits planned for each day. Day 1: The Drive, Lunch, Grocery…

  • Day Nine: Working From Home

As it does, the weather has been bouncing around so much lately. For times like these, I like to pull some ideas from my post, Versatile Products. But, today I definitely needed to dress for much warmer temperatures than I have lately. Dress: Macy’s Sunglasses:Ray Ban Shoes: Old Tretorns (Tretorns) This dress is literally $13.00 right now. I originally found it on Nordstrom Rack but they didn’t have my size. I was lucky enough to find it at Macy’s. I’m wearing a size small. I also picked up a couple of trenches because they were SO on sale and a trench is perpetually on my shopping list (Ralph Lauren/ Ralph Lauren). My Tretorns…

  • Day Eight: Working From Home

I put actual pants on today and I was really proud of myself. I’ve been taking about a two mile walk every day and I always change into my Tretorns but, today, I decided to start my day with them as well. T-Shirt: P.J. Salvage Jeans: Old Loft (J. Crew Factory) Sneakers: Tretorn (Tretorn) Although I was wearing jeans, this outfit was still super comfortable. I’m pretty positive my t-shirt is a pajama top, confirmed by the brand name, but that’s what makes it so comfy.  These are my favorite of all time sneakers (they’re my third pair) but, unfortunately, I’m not able to find them anymore. I just ordered…

  • Day Seven: Working From Home

I decided to wear something other than leggings today. But, I still kept it comfortable. Blouse: Banana Republic Jumpsuit: ASOS Shoes: Rothy’s This ASOS jumpsuit is SUPER stretchy and flowy. I’m definitely excited to wear it when the weather gets warmer with some sandals and without the shirt underneath. It even made it onto my Spring Lookahead. I just bought my first pair of Rothy’s and I’ve definitely fallen in love, like many others. I decided to go with the camo to keep it a little trendy. But, I love the point because of the classic shape. They’re super flexible although the soles don’t have a huge amount of support. But,…

  • Day Six: Working From Home

It is SUPER chilly today so I’m pulling out my old Winter pieces. The dreariness outside makes me feel even colder L. But, this was honestly an outfit I just threw on right before I went downstairs. I normally set out my clothes the night before. But, I had no motivation last night. So, I went with what I was feeling, which was cold and in need of a blanket wrapped around my body. Everything in this outfit has been in my closet for quite some time. So, I’ve listed a couple similars for each piece. Turtleneck: Nordstrom (Nordstrom Rack) Poncho: ASOS (Lulus/ Anthropologie) Leggings: Target Boots: Old Dr. Scholl’s (Boden) I…

  • Day Five: Working From Home

Day Five is a comfy outfit as well. I’ve begun mostly working in my bed all day and I don’t think that I could sit in it in anything uncomfortable with other options just steps away from me. Again, I made an outfit around a pair of my MANY black leggings. Blouse: Banana Republic Poncho: Tuckernuck Sweater Poncho Leggings: Old Target Shoes: Taryn Rose Necklace: Urban Outfitters This is such a comfy, cozy outfit (even though it looks fairly put together). Popping a collar is a way that I love to add a touch of elegance to a simple outfit. The Tuckernuck sweater poncho is super soft and heavy. It’s…

  • Day Four: Working from Home

I decided to put on pants today. But, I went with my COMFIEST pants. I watched Just Go With It last night and was inspired by Jennifer Aniston’s casual wardrobe. I love the look for boyfriend pants with a more feminine top, such as this V-neck sweater. Everything in my outfit have been staples in my closet for quite some time now. But, I tried to track down some similars. Sweater: Old Target (Similar/ Similar) Pants: Gap Khakis(Similar) Belt: Old Rebecca Minkoff (Similar/ Similar) Shoes: Target Accessories: Kate Spade Knot Bracelet/ Old Kate Spade Chain Bracelet (Similar) / Kate Spade Initial Necklace / Fitbit Wrap Band This is such a soft and cozy sweater.…
